  • The scan speed is not too impressive (7 seconds per scan for 300dpi)

In summary, this scanner has impressive features for a small device although its DPI capabilities are low.  If you travel a lot and scans a lot of smaller items a lot while on the go, then this is scanner is what you would prefer. But if you want to scan a larger image and one that does not run on batteries the Doxie Go is a better choice.

In conclusion, this printer is pretty much on the average compared to the ones available on the market on its class. This will probably suit snap shooters well especially if they prefer  bright, contrast prints, however, it’s not as well suited to serious photographers.   • Print speed is slightly low for a laser printer – 18 pages per minute (ppm). (In comparison to HP LaserJet Pro 400 Color MFP M475dn prints at 22 ppm in colour and B&W and the Ricoh Aficio SP C242SF prints at 21 ppm).
  • Cost per page is high! Do note that the toners that come pre-installed in the SL-C460FW are only half-full. The black cartridge, which usually yields 1,500 pages, only lasts 700. Same goes for the 1,000-page colour cartridges, which only actually last 500.

 

The Samsung Xpress SL-C460FW’s NFC capabilities makes it a lot more advance to other competing printers in the market. It has very much simplified the printing process, as you will not be needing any apps or drivers in using this technology.
