Installation is very easy with this device and will not take more than 1-2 hours. Just plug in the transmitter and it will give off s constant radio signal from an adjustable range of up to 90 feet in all directions creating a circular wireless fence thereby keeping your pets safely contained in an area of your choice (pets must be over 8 lbs, and must be 6 months or older).

In using this system,  first provide your pet a visual aid through  boundary flags set and define around the perimeter. For those who are not familiar with the terms, a nick is a brief burst of pre-measured stimulation; the continuous option gives electrical stimulation (as long as you hold the button down, up to eight seconds); and lastly paging will cause the collar to vibrate and providing  non-electrical stimulation.

CONS

  • This Collar system utilizes electronic correction simulations (not many dog owners  approve of this) though an optional non-electronic vibration is available
  • Not recommended for smaller dogs (less than 20 pounds)

The settings you use depend on your dog’s sensitivity and your training conditions, but you should always use the lowest setting that will work to get your dog’s attention.
