  • Simple 3 front “action” buttons for stimulation, tone and/or vibration
  • Remembers an individual dog’s training settings
  • Optimized to work on all dog breeds and coat lengths

CONS

  • The question that is most raised in using this device are: Is this humane? Will it hurt my dog? – To answer this: When used properly, both the BarkLimiter and Delta lines of pet products are definitely humane. The settings you use depend on your dog’s sensitivity and your training conditions, but you should always use the lowest setting that will work to get your dog’s attention.

Training pets is a big obligation. But when it works, they finally comprehend and appreciate the behavior that makes us happy, and we get to love our dogs more.

So it’s not anymore a shocker to see other hardware makers starting to make their own 7-inch tablets.  HP Slate 2800 7-Inch 8 GB Tablet – is one of them and as they say, this little buddy is the right size right by your side. The world as  you know it can be carried in the palm of your hand. While there is a slightly a big gap amidst the screen finishes and the edge of the tablet, the total design of the Slate is pretty decent. It features a nice stainless steel frame, has a metallic grey looking finish to the back (it’s also available in red), that results in an aesthetically impressive tablet.

PROS

  • A great price point.
  • Works great for streaming movies/tv, etc. – with sound quality that is incredible with the built-in Beats Audio™.
  • The display is bright, the sound is amazing for such a small package, and the touch screen works great.
  • Quick and easy in setting it up.
  • The expandability with the memory card made it possible to hold more music as well as books.
  • It’s light weight, easy to grip so it never feels like it may slip out of your hand.
  • Taking pictures is not as cumbersome as I anticipated it might be.

CONS

  • Not all applications function as expected, but hoping this gets better with additional updates.
  • It has no GPS.

Overall, the HP Slate 2800 7-Inch 8 GB Tablet  does just adequate to differentiate itself from the competition because of the cameras and Beats Audio support. It has a pretty decent price for its features, but in comparison to most tablets out there, it isn’t a hugely impressive tablet. While it’s good enough for very basic things that you needed to do – like using email and browsing the web, it’s not the tablet you want if you want to watch video (get a better screen).

This model also has HDMI with 3D and Audio Return Channel. 3D means the receiver can handle 3D signal data. The Audio Return Channel function permits data to be sent and received via the same HDMI cable so you can hear the sound from the TV via a single HDMI cable with no need for an extra optical cable.

PROS

  • Provides Dolby/DTS for Movies, while providing basic two channel stereo or 4+ speaker output for music.
  • Ease of use. Pretty much, pull the receiver out of the box and the menu system is ready to do the work for you.
  • The speaker auto adjustment feature is extremely useful. Place the speakers any where and you will be able to find room! On the floor, back-side down, table tops and sideways on tops of TV’s. This feature makes calibrating much easier for unique setups.
  • Has power saving features. You can leave the thing on, and it’ll turn itself off.
  • Seemingly only uses 24-28 watts electricity. Far less then a computer.

CONS

  • Advanced Settings menu can only be activated and navigated by the front panel.
  • Once you start a task, there appears to be no cancel button on the remote for when you make a mistake.
  • USB Memory Devices; FLAC, Vorbis, or anything other than WAV and MP3 files cannot be played with the RX-V375.

Overall, this is an outstanding receiver! Lots of custom configuration options, it has a simple interface and solid sound for the money.

  • ArtRage Studio is a stylish, intuitive painting and drawing package that makes it easy to produce natural looking artwork on your computer.

CONS

  • Not your best option if you intend to format Windows 8 and install Windows 7. There are no drivers advertised and none is offered from the support as well.  If you like Win 8, its a great value oriented laptop for that purpose. 
  • Screen resolution might not be the best compared to other laptop brands like in Apple, but hey I must say this is the best ultrabook in its price range.

Overall, the Sony VAIO T Series has impressive style and functions… it’s a great value for money and the touch screen feature adds to its advantages.

  • There are very few disadvantages to owning a laser printer in general but one of them is definitely the cost – with this printer, the cost also matches the fact that it has a lot of functions.
  • Another disadvantage is the cost of the cartridges inside a laser printer.
  • Another limitation of a laser printer is that they only really print on certain kinds of paper. If you want to print out photographs then a laser printer is not for you as they are not yet capable of printing high-resolution images.
